Home Alone is set to be rebooted by Disney

The pricing announced bundles Disney+ with Disney's two other streaming services, ESPN+ and Hulu into one subscription.

Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that the "reimagination" of the beloved movie will appear on the upcoming Disney+ streaming service after the entertainment giant's acquisition of Fox earlier this year. Now, it appears a bundle deal including Disney+, Hulu and ESPN will launch November 12 for an astounding $12.99 per month.

LOS ANGELES: Walt Disney Co. said Tuesday second-quarter results were lifted by strong box office gains but failed to meet Wall Street forecasts, sending shares sharply lower.

Disney now owns the franchises after it bought the film studio 20th Century Fox. Remastering a film essentially means re-releasing it in much better quality, but a movie being reimagined implies that the film will be re-made with a potentially entire new cast and storyline.

Comparatively speaking, this is a deal most streaming services can't beat.

‘Hobbs & Shaw’ Zooms to $120 Million Overseas
Rounding out the top five, Disney's " Toy Story 4 " added $7.1 million in its seventh weekend for a cumulative $410 million. The studio's "Honeyland" expanded into five locations after debuting in two theaters last weekend.

Disney+ launches in the United States in November and is expected to come to the UK next year.

Disney has already lined up some great shows for Disney+ that are based on some popular characters from its billion-dollar movie franchise.

In April, the company unveiled its Disney+ streaming service, which will launch in North America in November.

Worldwide availability is not yet clear for the new $12.99 package, and while there's nothing definitive to share yet on this front, Iger did add that the new package will most likely be available to buy through "Amazon, Apple, and other distributors". "We think it's important to achieve scale relatively quickly and they'll be an important part of that".

Summarising the initial strategy for Disney's streaming family, Iger said that the company is going to "start more domestically", and that the newly introduced price point "offers consumers tremendous volume, tremendous quality and tremendous variety for a good price".
