"Bombshell" opens in theaters December 19, 2019.
The stark official trailer for "Bombshell" is here, and gives viewers a first look at a near-unrecognizable Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly, Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson, and Margot Robbie as Fox News producer Kayla Pospisil.
Robbie, Kidman, and Theron's characters don't say a word except Kidman, who points out, "Hot in here...", before walking out. Bombshell stars Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie, John Lithgow, Kate McKinnon, Connie Britton, Mark Duplass, Rob Delaney, Malcolm McDowell, and Allison Janney. No one deserves more credit for the degradation of cable news than Roger Ailes, and the story of his takedown from the empire he helped create is about to be told in a new movie called Bombshell from director Jay Roach. Do we even need a whole movie?!
Planned Parenthood Drops Federal Funding Over Abortion-Referral Restriction
As governor of Indiana, Pence indeed defunded the organization at the state level, only to see HIV rates climb . Rodriguez, who had Planned Parenthood director for 17 years, ran three abortion business sites in Arizona.
"It was written really well, and I think it was the writing, and the filmmaker, that made me realize it was in the right hands", Theron told Entertainment Tonight in September 2018.
The teaser sees the trio get into a lift together, with the caption reading: "What started with a whisper will end with a bombshell".
Another production based on Ailes, Showtime's "The Loudest Voice", stars Russell Crowe as the former head of the network, with Naomi Watts as Gretchen Carlson. The miniseries showed the rise of Fox News until Ailes' death in May 2017. The Ailes scandal came first, but, a couple years on, it feels like the Weinstein scandal totally blew Roger Ailes' downfall out of the water.
