Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal trailer, beta dates announced

With Call of Duty Modern Warfare's testing period being an open beta, you'll simply need to download the beta client on your console of choice (PS4 players will have access first).

Additionally, since Sony's exclusivity agreement with Activision is still in effect, those on the PlayStation 4 will get to try out the beta earlier than their counterparts on the Xbox One and PC. Beyond that, developer Infinity Ward has been teasing what it calls "the multiplayer universe", where players can engage in an online mode that has a far larger scope than ever before. Following that, the beta will open up to all PS4 owners for two more days on September 14 and September 15.

Today, 30 Livestreamers from across the world have been given a first look for themselves at Modern Warfare multiplayer, and viewers everywhere have been given the chance to tune-in for all the action via the Modern Warfare Multiplayer Universe unveiling. "We also don't let you change your controller or peripheral mid-match, so once you've chosen it, it's locked in". Here's everything we know about the beta now and how to get in.
