It took a few months for Billie to catch up with Lil Nas X, but she did it. He's the owner of the longest-reigning No. 1 single of all time with "Old Town Road" but for weeks, Billie Eilish has been eating away at his lead.
Lil Nas X made history earlier this year with "Old Town Road," but it looks like the track's reign at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 music chart is officially over.
Though it may seem inconsequential given the grand scale of these other achievements, Billboard notes that Bad Guy had already beaten another record for the most weeks (nine) spent in the Hot 100′s runner-up spot.
That's longer than the 2017 hit Despacito, and pop juggernauts Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's song One Sweet Day.
Insiders believe that Columbia Records' push to promote "Panini" over "Old Town Road" marked the end of its run at the top.
WWE NXT Premieres On USA Network On Wednesday, September 18
U.S. is clearly a step up from FS1 in terms of visibility, but there is risk for WWE in going the higher-profile route. It is speculated that locations for the first live WWE NXT shows will be announced as well.
Billie Eilish released "Bad Guy" as a single back in March.
It's hard to remember that there once was a time, way back in April, when Lil Nas X didn't have the No. 1 song in the country. Upon her album's release, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? landed her the same bragging rights for the Billboard 200 chart, with her No. 1 debut.
Billie Eilish is the new queen of the Hot 100.
