Apple TV likely to debut at $9.99 a month in November


According to The Financial Times, Apple has set aside $6 billion for its original shows and movies.

However, Apple now plans to launch with just five original shows: The Morning Show (with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon); See (with Aquaman's Jason Momoa); Truth Be Told (with actress Octavia Spencer); Amazing Stories (a Steven Spielberg revival); and Home (a documentary series).

We may not have to wait much longer for the highly-anticipated Apple TV Plus streaming service.

'We're thrilled with the overwhelming interest in Apple Card and its positive reception, ' Jennifer Bailey, Apple's vice president of Apple Pay, said in a statement today.

The FT report claims that Apple TV+ will launch within the next two months in order to pre-empt the launch of Disney+.

Apple's next major new product doesn't come with a gaggle of high-res cameras or a laser etching of your name - instead, it comes with a monthly subscription price and a new drama series about a morning news show in turmoil.

Per Bloomberg, Apple plans to make a small selection of original series available at launch and build up its catalog over the next several months.

With Hollywood stars galore, Apple in March unveiled streaming video plans along with news and game subscription offerings as part of an effort to shift its focus to digital content and services to break free of its reliance on iPhone sales. Open the Wallet app, tap on the "+" symbol to add a card, and select Apple Card from the list of options.

Apple began rolling out its virtual credit card at the beginning of August, first releasing it only to a limited-number of customers. Users can apply through the Wallet app on an iPhone running iOS 12.4 or later, and in most cases receive instant access to Apple Card if approved. That's actually a better offer than the 2% Uber gives you for taking rides with its own Uber Visa card (the Uber Visa offers 4% back, however, on dining, including Uber Eats).
