Trump Compares Melania To Jackie O, Gives Her New Nickname, Melts Internet

President Donald Trump Friday, while commenting on his plans for a new paint job on Air Force One, compared his wife Melania to iconic first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis while commenting on reasons he'd like the plane's colors changed from the signature light blue color it's been for years. He says: "That was Jackie O and that's good, but we have our own Jackie O today, it's called Melania".

In a far-reaching, 50-minute interview with Fox News' "Fox & Friends", he discussed his proposed redesign of Air Force One, which will feature a design closer to the American's flag colors of red, white and blue. "Too bad he can't be more like Jackie's first husband", one critic quipped. She gets no credit from the media, but she gets credit from the people". Trump's flattering comparison between his wife and the wife of late president John F. Kennedy drew ire on Twitter. Second, Melania is no Jackie O, and calling her such is a disgrace because nearly all of Jackie's choices, while she was in the White House, came from historical backing and not because she thought that murder trees screamed "Christmas". She overcame a plethora of hardships & heartaches, with poise and elegance. She was an incredible First Lady and an even more marvelous woman. She balanced passions + duties, and did so with class.

"She likes to look elegant in the White House, but she had the sneakers". Some noted that Jackie Kennedy only became "Jackie O" after Kennedy was assassinated and she got remarried to Aristotle Onassis, a Greek shipping magnate, others portrayed Melania in derisive terms.
