It's the hardware we look to, and hardware is the realm where WWDC, magic and our dreams meet.
One of the biggest changes is more ability to customize the Mac Pro for special purposes.
Did we say "24-core or higher processor"? That includes an 8-core Xeon, 32GB of RAM, a single Radeon Pro 580X GPU, and a 256GB SSD. Design-wise, the Pro Display XDR has tiny, 9mm bezels, and can be bought with a $999 stand that easily attaches and detaches and lets you rotate it into portrait mode.
The motherboard of the Mac Pro really puts the Pro back into the line, supporting the Intel Xeon line of processors with up to 28 Cores and a ridiculous 1.5 TB of RAM (With a T) for all of your graphics needs and maybe even to run Chrome! Those tend to be large-very large-and it's a bit ridiculous that a system that costs six grand doesn't come with more storage. This is a new feeling, that is, not being able to afford a new Mac Pro.
The design is reminiscent of the old Mac Pro, with an aluminium body that takes the traditional tower case PC but gives it the Apple industrial design treatment. And, obviously, you can't deny the appeal of having everything built into one ready-to-go package. The Mac Pro comes with two USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 on the user-facing side, two USB-A ports on the rear side, and two more USB-C / TB3 ports at the top of the system, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Most consumer-level processors have between four and eight cores.
On the graphics front, you have the option to get the device loaded with Radeon Pro Vega 2 or Radeon Pro Vega 2 Duo. Users can configure the system with different components for ultimate customization.

An hour into its flight, the rocket started deploying the satellites into low Earth orbit 280 (450 km) miles above. The total cost of launching the constellation will come to around $10 billion dollars.
The iMac Pro definitely balances this by including a 5K Retina display out of the box, that covers the DCI-P3 color gamut. The Pro Display XDR will also be available this fall.
Apple's Mac Pro impressed the crowd when it was launched at the 2019 Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose, California, on Monday (June 3).
If you need more RAM, no problem. Throw in the base price of $5,999 of the Mac Pro itself and you are already looking at a machine that's priced at $32,500. Yes, fifty thousand dollars!
We've certainly been getting feedback from a specific group of users in particular, desktop Mac Pro users.
The Afterburner Accelerator card is capable of decoding up to 6.3 billion pixels per second, allowing video editors to skip using proxy format conversions and instead work with the raw video input straight from the camera source, decoding up to 3 streams of 8k ProRes RAW video or 12 streams of ProRes RAW 4k video in real time.
