Trump goes retweet insane against Biden, firefighters union

Earlier on Monday, Trump - provoked by Biden's comments about white supremacist violence at Charlottesville, Virginia, and Biden receiving the endorsement of the International Association of Fire Fighters union - directed his ire at Biden.

"Make sure we finish the job on health care", Biden said.

While Sanders has always been willing to confront those he disagrees with, she said, some other top contenders might hold off until later in the year on drawing contrasts with their opponents. Biden's campaign is based on the premise that he's the candidate best able to connect with voters in those areas - and his rhetoric on Monday was a direct appeal to them. She said voters are confident in the results from President Trump, including border security and tax cuts.

On Tuesday night, Biden tweeted his support for the Venezuelan opposition, now fighting to take power from the Nicolás Maduro regime with global and US government support. And, of course, recently some women have come forward to accuse Biden of touching them inappropriately over the years.

As The Hill notes today, Biden has opened a double-digit lead over his 2020 Democratic competitors.

Former Congressman Beto O'Rourke of Texas questioned Biden's backing from big-money outside political groups, and Senator Elizabeth Warren of MA has noted Biden's work "on the side of the credit card companies".

Biden's highest polling demographic seems to be racial minorities. Sanders said during a CNN town hall last month that he was going to "pay more attention" to foreign policy this campaign and praised his own Yemen resolution.
