Zinedine Zidane: 'I Like Pogba A Lot'

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has said he likes Paul Pogba "a lot" and suggested the midfielder could move to the Bernabeu when he leaves Manchester United. He's a really different player, somebody who brings something few others can to the pitch.

United moved into fourth place in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Watford on Saturday.

Zidane was asked whether any player could be worth the €280 million mooted as the price for Paris Saint-Germain's France forward Kylian Mbappe.

"We can't say what Mbappe is worth, as that is something defined by the clubs".

"When I came here they said the price of €72 million was insane, and in the end look what happened. I don't agree with what people have been saying about him of late.I see him as being happy and focused on his daily work".

"We know the player he is but he is not my player".

In addition, citizens are now grappling with power blackouts that experts have blamed on years of neglect and maintenance. His supporters have said numerous difficulties have been caused by worldwide sanctions levied against his regime.

"There is a lot of talk here", Zidane said.

"There are 10 games left and that is the only thing we have to think about, finishing the season well".

"Eight years already here, he has been phenomenal".

Thibaut Courtois, who had been dropped from the team upon Zidane's return, has been ruled out of the contest with an injury. Dani Carvajal remains sidelined for the Merengues, meaning Alvaro Odriozola should continue at right-back, while Zidane might look to give Sergio Reguilon a chance at left-back ahead of Marcelo.

While on the global break with the French national team, away from the watchful eye of Manchester United, Pogba admitted Real Madrid would be a dream for any footballer. Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Raphael Varane have all been excluded from the 19-man squad named by the manager.
