Xiaomi trolls Huawei’s new P30 series on Facebook

Huawei announced its two latest flagship phones, the P30 and P30 Pro, at a press event in Paris on Tuesday.

Enthusiasts already know that Huawei's P20 Pro and Matte P20 Pro had the best camera hardware of all the smartphones in 2017, TheNextWeb notes. However, the most apparent difference that you will notice at first is the difference in size between the 2 models.

The listings, which were first spotted by Revu, reveal the more affordable variant of the £899 Huawei P30 will have a 6.15-inch 1080 x 2312 screen, crowned with the same dewdrop-style notch and thinner bezels as its pricier sibling.

Huawei, yesterday, announced its latest flagship devices from the P-Series which also equally serve as the successors to the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro devices which were launched past year as the world's first device with a triple rear-camera setup.

It is apparent that these phones represent the absolute top end of the smartphone spectrum and as such would cost a premium. The Chinese firm is back in the business this year as well by unveiling the successor to the P20 Pro, the all-new Huawei P30 Pro. The primary camera is a 40 MP sensor which Huawei calls "SuperSensing Sensor". Also see our individual hands-on reviews of the P30 and the P30 Pro.

The SuperSpectrum sensor is a new type of sensor developed by Huawei.

The fourth camera is a Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera.

The TOF camera allows the P30 Pro to measure the time that light travels from an object to a camera, and then accurately calculate more layers of depth than the standard foreground and background of most cameras.

The Huawei P30 Series features an Extendable Read-Only File System (EROFS) that improves system responsiveness.

The new HUAWEI P30 Series will be available for pre-order in Pakistan from April 6, 2019 and available from April 13, 2019.
