The Golden State Warriors were playing against the Clippers when Cousins attained the injury, the GSW blew a 31 point lead and the series is now tied at 1-1. They later received double technicals during a heated argument in the fourth quarter and were ejected from the game. The Warriors have played very well in the first halves of the first two games of this series and I see that continuing down the road in LA for Game 3.
"I said 'We are going to win this game.' I was honest with them".
The Warriors won Game 1 by 17, appeared headed toward an even easier win in Game 2, and yet go into Game 3 basically starting from scratch. We were up 30 in Game 2.
In a season that saw numerous trades, waived players and multiple comebacks (including the 31-Point comeback against the Warriors on April 15th), the Clippers have had a roller-coaster of a season.
Durant's tone in the interview suggested a determination to reassert himself as one of the top scorers in the National Basketball Association in Game 3.

The monitoring website's outage map indicated that the blacked was extensively experienced by the users in Asia and Europe. More than 4,000 Instagram users and 6,000 WhatsApp users have reported issues.
Curry, Durant, Draymond Green and the remainder of the Monstars proved what we already know; despite their overwhelming likelihood to win this series and another NBA Championship this summer, the Golden State Warriors are the softest, best team in the history of the Association.
While the scrappy Clippers found a way to go blow-for-blow with the rest of the turnover-prone Warriors' roster for the first three quarters of the contest, they had no answer for the two-time MVP, who turned in a near-perfect offense performance in Game 1.
In Game 2, Looney scored a career-high 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds on a ideal 6-of-6 shooting in 20 minutes for a +1. Both of them logged 33 minutes, and Lou finished the game with a wild 36 points and 11 assists. The Warriors have gone 28-3 in those games. That was Philadelphia's sixth OVER result in its past eight games.
On the flip side, when Durant creates space from Beverley by using a forearm or shoulder a few times a game, the officials have called an offensive foul which has further frustrated Durant.
Beyond those particular scenarios, Durant has been highly efficient scoring the ball and is playing the same way that led to many Warriors victories late in the season.
