Broncos’ 2019 preseason schedule announced

The Arizona Cardinals announced their preseason schedule on Tuesday, revealing that the team will play one of its two home games on national television.

Denver will travel to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4 (Aug. 22-25).

The third preseason game is traditionally more of a dress rehearsal for the season than the other preseason games.

The Giants lead the preseason series, 18-10. The first preseason game is a looser setting with basically no game planning.

The Cardinals' first two preseason games will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Last year, they faced both the Raiders and Saints in the regular season, taking on Oakland in Week 1. Head Coach John Harbaugh is planning to hold joint practices with the Jaguars and Eagles in advance of those preseason games. Atlanta opened preseason play a year ago at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., and were shut out 17-0. Along with home and away games against each of their division opponents - the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams - the Cardinals will host the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions in the upcoming season.

Dates and times for the four games will be announced later, but all will be televised on KCTV (Channel 5) in the Kansas City area.

The exhibition season wraps up with a visit from the Baltimore Ravens on August 29.
