Kellyanne and Her Husband Differ Over President's Mental State

The husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway blasted President Trump on Wednesday, claiming Trump has a problem with "pathological" lying.

The message was a response to his campaign manager Brad Parscale's tweet suggesting the root of George Conway's criticism of the president is jealousy.

"No one was prouder than I was that she was able to elect this man president despite his obvious flaws", he said of his wife, insisting that he is not jealous.

In an interview with the Washington Post Tuesday, George Conway challenged the notion that the president hardly knows him and noted that he's had a number of notable interactions with the president over the course of a decade, including on legal matters.

'Agree with this, but would add that *allnow* about Trump's mental condition and psychological state, including and especially the media, Congress-and the Vice President and Cabinet, ' Conway wote.

Conway himself responded shortly afterward, tweeting: "Congratulations!" 'You just guaranteed that millions of more people are going to learn about narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism!

Conway, a vocal Trump critic on Twitter, recalled a trip to a costume party he took with his wife, former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, and Trump after the 2016 election but before Trump took office. On Twitter and in media op-eds, George Conway has questioned everything from Trump's mental state to whether he colluded with Russian Federation. Kellyanne Conway also said it was the fault of the news media for giving her husband such a platform, and that some of George Conway's close friends had asked him to stop.

Raonic ends Kecmanovic’s dream run, reaches Indian Wells semis
When Andreescu was broken by Kerber early in the deciding set it seemed her remarkable week looked set to end in disappointment. Thiem is through to the semi-finals at Indian Wells for the first time, having reached the quarters once before in 2017.

His tweet was included in Trump's reaction Tuesday. Consider them as a product of his pathologies, and they make ideal sense.

'I have four kids and I was getting them out of the house this morning before I got here, so I could talk to the president about substance.

Trump and Parscale were seemingly angered by George Conway suggesting he was a narcissist.

The president's camp has largely avoided responding to George Conway until now, with Eric Trump one of the few to fire back.

While neither Conway would admit it, it's hard not to wonder if this whole persona is a grift of some kind - a way for George to elevate his profile and formulate a fairly easy exit strategy for his wife, should the Mueller investigation prove damning, or should Trump face impeachment or simply lose his bid for reelection. "That's basically it. Frankly, it's so I don't end up screaming at her about it".

But he also took some credit for her present success.

The president has previously said "I really don't know the guy".
