The Bucks have agreed to a four-year, $70 million contract extension with guard Eric Bledsoe that will keep him in Milwaukee through the 2022-23 season. Bledsoe's stat line displayed 31 points, 5 assists, and 9 rebounds, in a perfectly symmetrical 31 minutes of action, all to reify the good faith they've shown their quote-unquote "team leader". "I know guys always want to save them, but it was a costly play in the game".
The 38-year-old six-time All-Star averaged 4.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in those appearances. That launched a game-ending 15-2 run with all but four of the points scored by Bledsoe and Brogdon. The play was created to give LeBron James the ball and space to make an attack, but Walton said there was an error in his communication.
'When the season started we knew we had something special and had a great team, but to be honest with you I never thought we'd have the best record in the National Basketball Association, ' he said.
The Lakers got after the Bucks defensively for the first three quarters, but had three of their nine turnovers in the final five minutes, including two by Rajon Rondo.

Marcus Morris top-scored with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Marcus Smart scored 16 points and Kyrie Irving added 13 as seven Celtics players finished with a score in double figures.
"We're aware of it", head coach Luke Walton said. But they came up with the press, and we didn't get open and at that point we probably should have called that last timeout.
Outside of Ingram and LeBron, the remaining Lakers were mostly inefficient shooting from the field despite posting a robust 120 points. We can't say, 'OK, we were great three quarters, three-and-a-half quarters versus Milwaukee, we can carry that.' Nope, we can't do that.
