Rapper T.I.'s Sister Precious Harris Dead at 66


Precious Harris was a frequent guest on the entertainment family's popular reality shows and one of the most popular personalities.

Rapper T.I.'s family is in mourning following the death of his older sister, Precious Harris.

According to her daughter, Precious died Friday, a week after getting into a serious vehicle crash in Atlanta.

Harris had been placed on life support nearly immediately after arriving at a local hospital in Atlanta last week.

The 66-year-old's daughter, Kamaya Chapman, announced the devastating news on her Instagram on February 22 in commemoration of her mother, writing, "From my bestfriend on earth to My attractive angel in heaven ❤️ ..."

TMZ reported that Harris hit a pole, which triggered an asthma attack.

T.I. and his wife, singer-songwriter Tameka "Tiny" Cottle immediately halted production on their current VH1 show, Friends & Family Hustle, once they were made aware of the news. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, in light of the heartbreaking news. Precious had reportedly been on life support at an Atlanta hospital since the accident and was never responsive.

The rapper posted a tribute to his older sister on Thursday, saying 'We You Dearly Baby Girl'. "I love you so much", she wrote, including a broken heart emoji. She's a true fighter...always have been and God has the last word'.
