Resident Evil 2 remake Unlock Hunk | The 4th Survivor

Deadline reports that a scripted Resident Evil series is in early development at the streaming network, who would team with Constantin films on the project.

Resident Evil 2 Remake has just been released and while it looks and plays unbelievable, I'm pretty sure that a lot of players would also love to play a remastered version of the original game. The new series will shed light on the "inner workings" of the Umbrella Corporation, the corrupt pharmaceutical company that unleashed the T-virus on the world and turned countless humans into zombies. The franchise proved so durable that it spawned an entire Resident Evil movie series starring Milla Jovovich that went on a rampage at the box office.

"Inspired by the 1998 production by George A. Romero, the video focuses on rookie cop Leon Kennedy arriving at his first day on the job and civilian college student Claire Redfield, trapped in the overrun Raccoon City in search for her brother Chris".

Editor's note: Given that The 4th Survivor unlocks after completing Resident Evil 2, you may see some spoilers below.

While the six movies were never domestic blockbusters, they always fared well at the worldwide box office.

Still, if you're planning on firing up the Resident Evil 2 Remake this weekend, be safe in the knowledge that the franchise is probably about to reach its peak in terms of popularity, boulder punches notwithstanding - and we'll perhaps soon be able to become the master of binging. Jumping from the PS1 original to this, immediately you notice a more considered introduction with a defined character focus - one that segues into a police station housing intelligently redesigned combat zones and puzzles from top to bottom.
