Liverpool to face Wolves in FA Cup third round

Rovers will travel to Newcastle United in the third round of the FA Cup while Burnley host Barnsley and Accrington Stanley entertain Ipswich Town. Assombalonga remains Posh's record signing when moving to the ABAX Stadium from Watford for £1.25 million. Posh drew 1-1 at home against a side who had been promoted to the top flight the season before and then lost the replay 2-0.

Arsenal are already competing on several fronts and are likely to be focused on pursuing strong finishes in the Premier League and Europa League first and foremost.

However, earlier that season Pompey did win 2-0 at Carrow Road when a goal from Dave Kitson in the 73rd minute and a late penalty from Greg Halford, after Leon Barnett was sent off, sealed the win in Norfolk.

Premier League leaders Manchester City will also face second-tier opposition in Rotherham as do Manchester United, who are at home to Reading.

Qatar will pull out of OPEC amid tension with Saudi Arabia
USA crude CLc1 pulled back from a rally early in the session, trading up 5 cents to $53.00 a barrel by 12:24 p.m. Qatar has been feuding with Saudi Arabia and three other Arab nations that accuse it of financing terrorism.

Bradford have followed Posh's lead by heavily reducing prices for the replay.

Liverpool was drawn away to Wolverhampton Wanderers in one of two all-English Premier League matchups in the draw for the third round of the FA Cup on Monday.

The 3rd round ties will be played the week commencing the 5th January 2019.
