Monica McLean Says Christine Ford Never Coached Her on Polygraph

I can only speak as one of 21 senators here, but I thank you very much for your testimony, more importantly, for your bravery coming out, and trying to answer our questions as best you could remember. During last Thursday's Judiciary Committee hearing, GOP prosecutor Rachel Mitchell asked several questions about whether Ford handed those notes over to The Washington Post, or simply recounted their contents. "I don't know. I don't know", Trump sneered, deriding Ford's testimony before the Senate, which was widely viewed as compelling and forthright-in stark constrast to Kavanaugh's enraged, evasive, and lie-filled performance.

Now, Grassley is firing back and again requesting relevant documents from Ford and her attorneys.

Ford's allegation relies heavily on three components: a polygraph exam she took earlier this year, notes from a therapy session in 2012, and eyewitness testimony.

Ford apparently passed her own polygraph test, but Senate Judiciary chairman Chuck Grassley has demanded that her lawyers turn over all video and audio recordings of the procedure, as the ex-boyfriend's statement "raises specific concerns about the reliability of her polygraph examination results".

Grassley said in a letter sent to Ford's attorneys that he wants them to send him the other two material evidence components, or the exam and therapist notes.

That includes her longtime friend Leland Keyser, who definitively stated several days prior to Ford's public testimony before the committee on September 27 that she had never met Kavanaugh nor attended a party like the one Ford described. McLean was looking for work with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US Attorney's office.

"And I don't just mean countermeasures", Mitchell said, "but I mean just any sort of tips, or anything like that".

In his letter, Grassley also repeated his request of Ford to provide her therapists' records to the Senate for review. First, he tried to undermine Dr. Ford's trauma on Twitter by questioning why she didn't go to the police, inadvertently inspiring the viral #WhyIDidntReport hashtag.

Kavanaugh denied the allegations, as has his former classmate Mark Judge, who Ford claims was also in the room at the time of the alleged incident. "Please respond to our requests", Avenatti replied.
