Black Panther Director To Produce Space Jam Sequel

It looks like Space Jam 2 is very much a thing. Of course, there's a locker for LeBron's co-star Bugs Bunny as well. Now, it seems a theory has popped up from the poster, and fans think it may be hinting at the movie's release date.

The Hollywood Reporter announced Wednesday that LeBron James and his SpringHill Entertainment production company have landed Ryan Coogler to produce the second "Space Jam" installment.

If you read the numbers in order, they read 1/23/2021.

The reports about a Space Jam 2 have been circling for years now, but it finally appears SpringHill and Warner Bros. have finally settled on the team to bring the sequel of the animated basketball classic to life. Coogler joins director Terence Nance (Random Acts of Flyness).

Former " Roseanne " star, Roseanne Barr , revealed what happens to her character in the new spinoff, " The Conners ". Oz Show " Tuesday, Barr explained that she will be in Israel when "The Conners " premieres.

Production on the "Space Jam" sequel is tentatively scheduled to begin in the summer of 2019.

This will mark James' first on-screen role since 2015's Trainwreck, which saw the basketball star hold his own surprisingly well with scene partners like Amy Schumer and Bill Hader.

"I loved his vision", James said. "It's so much bigger". "For Ryan to be able to bring that to kids, it's fantastic", the soon-to-be Los Angeles Laker said. Coogler, who scored big earlier in 2018 when he directed Black Panther, is a huge get for the project. I'd just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don't just give up on their dreams. While it remains to be seen what National Basketball Association stars other than LeBron will be featured in Space Jam 2, we now know who will be directing and producing the film.
