Juventus ace Ronaldo: Cuadrado gesture surprised me

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo says he joined the club in order to win the Champions League.

Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo, right, controls the ball during a friendly match between the Juventus A and B teams, in Villar Perosa, northern Italy, earlier this month.

The Italian champions caused one of the surprises of the summer when they announced that they had completed the signing of the Portugal global on a long-term contract.

The five-time Ballon d'Or victor added: "I never expected to play in this team, but some things happen naturally, for me it was an easy decision".

"But of course I want Cristiano to be a football player, because I think he has that drive".

Cuadrado had held the No. 7 ever since he began his second loan spell with the Old Lady in 2016 and he kept a hold of it when his deal was made permanent previous year. I like how they train, their mentality. Ronaldo was handed the number seven shirt that has become synonymous with the Portuguese since his days at Manchester United, even earning the nickname "CR7".

Henderson said testing had shown levels of fine particulate matter of up to 200 parts per million in some B.C. communities. The afternoon camp for older players was cancelled, however, because the focus is on team training, fitness and agility.

The Italian champions have lost five finals since they last won the competition in 1996.

"I want to try to write the story in this club".

"He's very competitive, just like I was at his age".

While it is not clear if Ferguson wanted Ronaldo to remove step-overs from his repertoire entirely, he at least wanted to teach him how to do them correctly, as they are now a signature part of his play style.

"He doesn't like to lose and he will be like me, I'm sure, 100 per cent".
