Three Indicted in Violent Kidnapping of 'Halloween' Franchise Star

Prosecutors say McCrackin was dropped at her home the next day, when she promptly called 911 to alert authorities about the alleged kidnapping and beating.

Three people have been charged with kidnapping a star of the Halloween film series, along with another actor - holding the latter for ransom.

Police say Capone was held naked in a bathtub for 30 hours without food, and an unsealed indictment obtained by NBC News alleges that the kidnappers "did unlawfully and maliciously deprive Joseph Capone of a member of the body and did disable, disfigure and render it useless". Keith Andre Stewart, Johntae Jones and Amber Neal were charged with kidnapping, assault with a firearm and other offense in connection with the May 3, 2017 incident.

Daisy McCrackin is seen at a luncheon for the documentary film "Rize" on March 3, 2006, in Los Angeles.

On May 4, McCrackin was forcibly taken to two banks to withdraw money and told to write a "ransom" cheque for $10,000. The suspects also allegedly stole McCrackin's 2011 Lexus before they took her home.

After the video was shared an onslaught of outrage was quickly directed at the Los Angeles Police Department from citizens who claimed police heightened their response because the woman was black.

In a statement released by the Fond du Lac Band Thursday, the band said they would push for some areas to be avoided by the route. The Minnesota Petroleum Council stated Thursday that the PUC decision was good news for state consumers.

Next the three alleged kidnappers reportedly placed black hoods over the victims' heads and drove them to a home belonging to Jones. Stewart also cut and disabled Capone's tongue, "put out an eye", and cut his nose, ear and lip, according to the indictment.

In a twist, Neal drew widespread support after a video showing her being arrested went viral.

Bail for Jones and Neal was set at $1 million, while Stewart's bail was $2.08 million.

The footage, viewed more than 2.5 million time since it was uploaded, shows Neal getting slowly out of a vehicle with her hands in the air in front of several officers and patrol vehicles. If convicted, they each potentially face sentences of up to life in prison.
