Ant-Man and the Wasp Is Certified Fresh

With that also comes the post-credits scenes, of which there are two in Ant-Man and the Wasp, sticking with the typical formula of one amusing and one being more serious.

Most of Ant-Man and the Wasp's storyline is a self-contained tale of tech-espionage, with a rescue mission thrown in as the main objective.

"Ant-Man and The Wasp" takes place before Thanos takes on the Avengers in "Infinity War". At a time when superhero cinema seems eager to test the limits of its dramatic stakes, here's a reminder that smaller stories can be just as satisfying.

Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly reprise their roles as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Hope van Dyne/The Wasp as superheroes able to shrink themselves into the quantum realm.

Facebook bug quietly unblocked more than 800,000 blocked users
For example, their relationship may have changed or they may want to take a break from someone posting content they find annoying. The scale and scope of that bug was much larger than this one and affected a whopping 14 million users over several days in May.

The final post-credits scene picks up some time after "The Snap", and gives us our first real look at what the MCU is like in the immediate aftermath of Thanos' bad act.

What's unclear (and very interesting) is whether or not being in the Quantum Realm saved Scott from the Infinity Gauntlet's power, or whether he was simply lucky enough to be the only "New Avenger" to survive erasure.

The plan, Janet explains to Scott, is for him to take a healing particle into the subatomic quantum realm to help "cure our ghost friend". It may even be out of Thanos' reach, or at least his awareness. Failing that, it's certainly more than possible that the quantum particles are a way in which the Stones can be reliably counteracted; even if people were literally reduced to dust, if quantum particles can alter the fabric of reality, what's to say they couldn't reach into an alternate universe and pull a new version of a vaporized person back into our dimension? The TV is showing only the "Emergency Broadcast System" signal - probably as a result of the mayhem caused by Thanos. Combine that with Janet's warning about the time vortex, and we have to wonder if Scott is gonna be involved in some time-travel shenanigans come Avengers 4. Sometimes they're super-dramatic reveals, or shocking teases for the upcoming films. and sometimes, it's an ant playing drums.

Avengers 4 will arrive in May, 2019.
