Xiaomi Confirms No Mi A2 Smartphone Launch in India

The event kicks off on Thursday at 2 pm local time (11:30am IST), and will be streamed live on the company's official site.

With the Xiaomi Mi 8 making its way to India, we can expect the OnePlus 6 to run for its money. Internal storage is at 64GB, and the smartphone is also listed to support dual-GPS mode.

Another leak suggests that the Company will also announce the launch of Mi Note 5 in China. You can also get all the updates through the company's Twitter account or by following Xiaomi on Instagram. As first spotted by Sohu, Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has been mentioned in the description column of a CNY 50 (roughly Rs. 500) coupon on Xiaomi's shopping portal in China.

Xiaomi is gearing up for its 31st May event, teasing the launch of their flagship smartphone from the Mi series - the Mi 8. The Taj Mahal can be seen in one of the 8 logos, and it is assumed that the Mi 8 will make its way to India.

US Plans Walkout as Syria Takes Reins of UN Disarmament Forum
Wood stressed that the U.S. would not "permit "business as usual" in the CD while Syria presides over this body". The French representative also said Syria "does not have the moral authority to lead this body".

The same tipster has previously published Xiaomi Mi 8 information, such as four photos detailing claimed specs and price tags on May 22. The following is the picture of the box package of Mi 8 which confirms the presence of Snapdragon 845, dual rear cameras and a dual Global Positioning System module.

Speculations state that the phone might pack Snapdragon 845 and OLED display with a notch. The image has also revealed that both the device will feature notch displays and the Mi 8 SE will feature a smaller display compared to the Mi 8. Because of this technical choice, the smartphone could look like a lot more like someone took a bite out of an Apple than we'd like to see.

With less than two days left before the Xiaomi Mi8 is official, the leaks show no signs of stopping. We don't know exactly how many but the company has confirmed at least one. Earlier reports also hint that Xiaomi will launch another variant of the Mi 8 expected to be called as Mi 8 SE. The 3D module will enable users to unlock the Mi 8 just by scanning their face in 3D. But it is presumed that Mi 8 will have 4GB/ 6GB RAM and a storage capacity of around 64 GB.

For the camera department, Xioami Mi 8 will feature a dual rear camera of 20-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) + 16-megapixel (f/1.7 aperture) sensors while for the front it will have a 16-megapixel (f/1.7 aperture) selfie camera. Instead, it will be quite similar to what Android P is bringing to the table.
