Just Cause 4 Gameplay Footage Revealed at E3 2018

It wasn't an expensive stage show with Andrew WK or padded with a panel to talk about a game people would rather just see.

E3 2018 marked Square Enix's return to holding a press conference at the event, as its last showcase was at E3 2015.

This year's highly anticipated E3 Square Enix showcase broadcasts on Monday, June 11 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.

However, the conference itself let players hear from developers about what they actually added into games like Just Cause 4 or Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Lara Croft will "become one with the jungle" which means that the game has a heavy stealth focus. The highlight for us was Shadow of the Tomb Raider, but...well, we just saw that one two months ago.

At a closed-doors preview session, game director Francesco Antolini and narrative director Omark Shakir confirmed that "Just Cause 4" will run on a new engine, an upgraded version of the open-world engine Apex. All we know is that it's being developed by Tomb Raider developers Crystal Dynamics and that it will feature a completely original story and "a universe gamers can play in for years to come". The big surprise was the announcement Final Fantasy XIV online X Monster Hunter World. The Quiet Man starts with a long shot of NY as a hooded man walks into an alley and proceeds to beat up a couple of guys.

E3 2018: The Elder Scrolls returns to mobile with ambitious RPG Blades
Howard was insistent that the game will be fully playable offline, but he also said that "every surviving human is a real player". At its heart, " Blades " at its heart is a pure Elder Scrolls game, the company said when it announced the title.

The more we see of the game the more we want to get our hands on it. More information will be made available on Square and Capcom's collaboration website here.

We're also really looking forward to playing the free prequel to Life Is Strange 2, called The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit - which will be released on June 26. A Souls-esque game created by Platinum?

Overhauled and new vehicles, high stakes, better-than-ever combat, intelligent enemy AI, and unparalleled draw distance are just some of the features boasted throughout the trailer, with each of the aforementioned elevating Just Cause 4 over some of the bugs and issues experienced by players in Just Cause 3. So if any project will be shown off during Sony's press conference it's this one.

As shown in the trailer below, player movement is faster. The game's story will involve three different protagonists and has multiple story paths. If you succeed, your stats will increase for a limited period of time.

As of right now, The Quiet Man looks to be slated for release on PlayStation 4 and PC. It makes a little more sense once you see it in motion, so definitely do that below.

This trailer took a long time to get going - the brunt of it is a timeline juxtaposed over an ancient map - but the PlatinumGames logo saved it.
