The First Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Details Have Arrived

The third trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 was posted online by Rockstar Games while giving some details of the story. The video tells us that the game takes place in 1899, years before the first Red Dead Redemption.

The good news is that, in the meantime, Rockstar Games issued a new trailer for the game on Wednesday. Red Dead Redemption 2 will allow players to aim and cock their gun without firing it and they can use this to threaten NPCs, such as characters who witness a crime and threaten to inform the law.

IGN confirmed that they got to see Dead Eye in action, which is definitely great news.

The "him" and "you" thing being blended together is something that is constantly being played with by Rockstar Games, which is said to add to world building.

"We have a wide open space, but you've got wider open space with the character you're playing as well."

The leak also sheds some light on the single-player mode, including the identity of the main characters.

There seems to be many highly anticipated games to look forward to in 2018.

A morale system will play into the system, with happy gang members when resources are plentiful, and grumpy cowboys when things are dire.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is shaping up to be most definitely a game as good as our expectations are, if not better. Much like the previous ones, this primarily focuses on teasing the game's narrative rather than showcasing significant gameplay, and while we're left to guess what most of it means, there is one reveal of note.
