On Tuesday, Bethesda's Twitter account sent out a GIF of the series' famous "PLEASE STAND BY" screen along with a hashtag of the same name on Monday afternoon, ostensibly a teaser that some Fallout-related announcement is coming soon.
For now, we'll just have to wait and see what Bethesda Game Studios has in store with its upcoming Fallout announcement, but I'm excited regardless that the studio has something up its sleeve for the series. While fans still wait for what that might be, one of the studios known for handling Fallout properties has also put out a cryptic tweet. Or it could be a Switch version of Fallout 4. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Fallout 3's release (yes, it's been that long!) and offers the company a ideal opportunity for a re-release of the sprawling survival shooter. Given the famed secrecy of Bethesda Game Studios - Todd Howard refuses to even spill Elder Scrolls news to his family - pretty much anything could be on the cards. It's possible whatever this tease is for, we could be playing it by the end of the year.
Simon Yates maintains lead, Rohan Dennis wins 16th stage time trial
Overall leader Yates lost less time to second-placed defending champion Dumoulin than many observers had predicted. I have a bigger gap to the guys behind him as well - it's not only Tom. "I'm really happy.
The only thing is there's been no hints or leaks of anything Fallout related at all.
At the moment there's no way of knowing but, especially given the live Twitch stream, there seems a good chance we'll find out before Bethesda's pre-E3 showcase on June 10. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
