Conte 'to leave Chelsea within 48 hours'

Ever since Willian was substituted during the FA Cup semi-final against Southampton, in which the 29-year-old proceeded to storm down the tunnel and into the locker room, Conte had started the Brazilian just once, most recently leaving him on the bench during the team's FA Cup Final win against Manchester United on Saturday.

Jesse Lingard has claimed Manchester United were the better team in Saturday's FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea, admitting that the loss was his "worst feeling" in football to date.

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte looks set to leave Stamford Bridge within the next 48 hours, according to a report from The Express.

But instead, the United manager spent little time addressing his players and simply used the opportunity to thank his squad for their efforts this season and wished them well ahead of their holidays and the World Cup.

"I have chose to respect my contract", Conte said after the match.

'I've showed this today, because we found the right way to win this trophy.

The Blues have had a rather poor campaign this term after in a stuttering Premier League campaign finishing fifth on the table unable to qualify for the Champions League.

"I think that the transfer market has gone pretty insane". So we will wait and see.

You can say what you want but I'm a serial victor, I've shown that in England a year ago, after a hard 10th-place finish, and I showed it today because we found the right way to lift this trophy.

"If he doesn't, he's gone away with a Premier League and FA Cup".

The two rivals, recently bitter enemies, embraced at the end of a final which was more notable for its first ever use of video technology than for any of the football on display. A tremendous first season in charge saw the Blues coast to the title, and narrowly miss out on a League and FA Cup double at the hands of Arsenal.

"In every press conference I always say I'm committed to this club, to respect my contract". I am sure, if I was a guessing man, they will have spoken between the club and manager. With Lewandowski however, Chelsea would be getting a proven goal-scorer who is also excellent with his back to goal, and can effectively link-up play with Hazard and co.

"As regards to the game itself, especially during the second half we had several chances to score and take the game to the extra time, but we didn't make it, so we have to be fair and congratulate Chelsea". At 27, this is a big World Cup for him and if he wants to showcase his abilities to get a move then he has got the flawless stage, because there is no bigger or better place.
