Stranger Things 3: Maya Thurman-Hawke joins the cast

Stranger Things continues to expand its cast for season 3 by adding a new female lead.

As Stranger Things fans know, that dark secret involves the Upside Down and a shadow monster that is still terrorizing the town.

Stranger Things is still going strong and heading into their third season. The show, which premiered on Netflix in 2016, has enjoyed phenomenal success and praise for its cast. The report also claimed Priah Ferguson, who plays Luca's little sister Erica, has been upped from a guest role to a recurring role in the new season. The next season is set to give Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) a bit of a break while it deals with forces of evil that will be new to the show. This season, Erica finds herself on an insane mission to save the town of Hawkins from a new unsafe threat. Thurman-Hawke will play a brand new character: Robin, an alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful. This could tie in very well to Lucas' adventures with Eleven, Will, Mike, Dustin, and Max, with the older/younger sibling dynamic delivering some great comedic moments. She looks like she'll be about the same age as Steve, Nancy, Jonathan and Billy.

Bitcoin Values Hit New Highs Following Early February Slump
Bitcoin is the most well-known cryptocurrency because it was the first viable one, and then it began trading around the globe. Less than a year prior, no one except devout techies and maybe a couple finance guys had ever heard the word " bitcoin ".

In interviews, the Duffers had revealed how impressed they were by Ferguson, hinting that she would have an expanded role in season 3.

While we met Erica last season, Robin is a brand-new character in the Stranger Things world. Official plot details are still under wraps, however, the eight-episode third season will likely feature another time jump when the adventure continues, picking up with its young characters attending high school.
