Ewan McGregor brings Winnie the Pooh to life in Christopher Robin teaser

"Christopher Robin" opens in theaters August 3. Disney has just released an enchanting first teaser for Christopher Robin, and it looks like a nostalgic victor. While not a remake per se, this movie is very much in line with Disney's smash hit updates like Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, and Cinderella as it brings a new iteration of the Winnie the Pooh story to the big screen. A year ago also saw the release of a different adaptation of Pooh, with Goodbye Christopher Robin starring Dohmnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie.

Though "Hook" was not a Disney film (it was produced by Amblin Entertainment and distributed by TriStar), there are many similarities between the storytelling choices between it and "Christopher Robin".

That man, however, was once the young boy who loved embarking on adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with a band of spirited and lovable animals.

"I believe he's not just a lovely teddy bear for children to play with or who can put you in a good mood", Forster says. Now his childhood friends Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and more must help him remember his past as they venture into our world.

Prosecutors open investigation into Davide Astori's death
Radja Nainggolan, Astori's former Cagliari teammate wrote on Instagram: "A great player, but even more than that, a great person". I feel like crying knowing that he has left a wife and a two-year-old daughter, who will grow up not knowing her dad.

In the trailer, a grown-up Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) has become so dedicated to his work that his family is suffering. That's when Winnie the Pooh (voiced by Jim Cummings) shows up to lend a soft shoulder for emotional support.

The rest of Pooh's gang will turn up in the movie too.

Other characters from the Hundred Acre Wood who are expected to appear in the film but are neither seen nor heard in the trailer include Tigger (Chris O'Dowd), Owl (Toby Jones), Kanga (Sophie Okonedo), Piglet (Nick Mohammed) and Eeyore (Brad Garrett).
