It may be recalled that Jio had revised its plans earlier this month to offer more data with its popular 1GB data per day recharge packs, and launched new plans with 1.5GB daily data allocation as part of the Happy New Year 2018 offer, where a Jio user will get 500 Mb more data.

Reliance Jio has announced 50% more data on all its tariff plans with effect from January 26, according to company sources. In comparison, Airtel's plan offers 1GB daily 3G/4G data, with validity of 28 days.
The most basic plan now starts at a price of Rs. 98 now, offering users 2GB high-speed data, after which the speeds will be reduced. This offer was a comparison to airtel offer which states that unlimited calls, SMS and 1 GB data regularly. On the other hand, Reliance Jio is giving 3GB data per day with 100 SMS and unlimited local and STD calling, which is valid of 28 days. Airtel also has a similar plan priced at Rs 349 with 2.5GB daily data, but the validity is only 28 days. The Rs. 398 plan gives 70 days validity with 140GB data, while the Rs. 448 plan gives 84 days validity with 168GB data. The plan offers 1.4GB daily 3G/4G data and validity of 82 days.
