While a change at the position at this critical juncture would seem foolish on the part of Minnesota coach Mike Zimmer, he is still clearly keeping his options open ahead of the Vikings second-round playoff matchup against the New Orleans Saints. They have held 14/16 opponents to less than 20 points. Now Keenum will make his first career playoff start against Drew Brees, who has thrown for over 375 yards in three of his last five playoff appearances. It's a similar story with Case Keenum who, while seldom prone to controversy himself, has been making a big noise at QB for Minnesota this season.

"Honestly, we don't even care".

Peterson is the Vikings' all-time leading rusher with 11,747 yards; he set the single-game record for rushing yards (296) against San Diego in 2007; and became one of only seven running backs in National Football League history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season when he did it in 2012.

Saints fans arrived in droves to the Minnesota airport this weekend all pumped up for Sunday's game. The question becomes, how much confidence does Sean Payton have in one of his former favorite receivers during such a critical game?

- New Orleans is 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0. The Vikings will continue to rely on Latavious Murray and Jerrick McKinnon and that terrific defense to carry them to victory. That was the first game of the year.

Trump says US-Norway ties 'robust'

Everyone in Minnesota is excited about the Minnesota Vikings finishing the season 13-3 and having a chance to host a home Superbowl in Minneapolis. "The 6'6", 265-pounder has 57 catches for 532 yards and eight touchdowns.

So, what are the odds the Saints avenge their Week 1 loss? It actually made it very easy for the Vikings to say goodbye.

"Probably as some assistant in Kansas City, or something", he said, breaking into the hearty laugh for which he's been known during his time as Minnesota's "Garrulous Governor Chilly".

Plenty of numbers to lead one to think this is a Vikings victory, but Jones has plenty of numbers of his own.

Granted, New Orleans' defense is no great shakes. Generating enough of a pass rush to bother Brees with four-man pressure packages would also be key because then the Vikings can use seven defenders in coverage, which is a luxury against an accurate passer such as Brees. "He's pretty much got everything you need to be a really good corner in this league".
