Creed 2 casts pro boxer as Ivan Drago's son

In the sequel for the 2015-released American sports drama movie that served as a spin-off from Stalone's "Rocky" movie franchise, Adonis will deal with a lot of problems that include his newfound fame, family issues, as well as his goal to become a boxing champion.

Creed 2, a continuation of the Rocky series, will feature Munteanu as the son of Russian boxer Ivan Drago who was the main antagonist in 1985's Rocky IV, Variety reported.

It remains to be seen how good an actor Romanian Florian "Big Nasty" Munteanu actually is, but he certainly looks the part.

In December there was speculation that WWE superstar Brock Lesnar would fill the role, after Stallone seemingly teased him as Drago's son in an Instagram post - which was later revealed to be inaccurate.

With Michael B. Jordan also returning as Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed, sparks are bound to fly between these two heavyweights. Tessa Thompson will also return as Adonis' girlfriend, Bianca. Portrayed by Dolph Lundgren, Ivan Drago appeared in Rocky IV, and broke all of our hearts when he killed Apollo Creed.
