We're certainly interested to see the new Essential Phone, although there hasn't been any concrete news as to official availability and pricing details. The former was pretty simple, showcasing the phone's form factor, while the second demonstrated the Colorshift material of the device's exterior.

Essential had filed for a patent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to trademark the "GEM" name, and so, we believe that the new phone from the company will be called as the Essential GEM.

The Essential Phone received generally positive reviews but was discontinued at the end of a year ago.

Rubin unveiled the first Essential phone two years ago which sold poorly. One of the standout characteristics of the devices will have to be the color-shifting design, which is super flashy and presents you a different color at different angles.

Cleveland is eighth against the pass, giving up just 215.2 yards per game, although they're 21st against the run (119.8). Breida led the way with 114 yards, Coleman had 97 and even George Kittle and Marquise Goodwin had successful jet sweeps.

Given those stats, it will be interesting to see how this device performs in the market.

As well as highlighting the colours, and hence showing off the volcano-like camera bump with finger print sensor below, Rubin trumpeted the PH-2's "new UI for radically different form factor". This suggests that it could be a companion device akin to the Palm Phone.

According to observations made by 9to5Google, the prototype has a front-facing hole punch camera in the top-left corner with primary navigation (back button and pill) seemingly at the top instead of the bottom.

Everyone has already started comparing it to an Apple TV remote and how it would be hard to type on the device. Let us know in the comments! You can notice apps displayed as cards or widgets, with tiled icons for certain apps. Wouldn't this device be too awkward to hold? However, there's no news about the phone's launch date and the design of the lastest Essential phone 2 is yet to be finalized. Will voice assistance be enough to not need a keyboard?
