Microsoft shows off its dual-screen Surface Neo, coming in holiday 2020

You can head to the medium of your choice to follow the event.

The Surface Neo will launch in the 2020 holiday season. While Microsoft is positioning it as a Surface PC, you'll still be able to make calls with it. It will most likely be powered by a 10th-gen Intel Core processor.

The Surface Neo is both a laptop and tablet. Only time will tell whether Microsoft was referring to Windows 10X or other future platforms.

Surface Duo is the first Surface to fit in your pocket.

This year, Microsoft is offering not one but two versions of its Surface Laptop 3 - the regular 13.5-inch, and a larger 15-inch model. A new color option was added that now laces the laptop in a champagne-like gold.

The Surface Pro X introduces a new form factor to the Surface Pro line, with a 13-inch display in a 12-inch chassis and a thickness of just 0.21 of an inch, Microsoft said.

Relax, meat might not kill you after all
As you can imagine, leading cancer and heart associations didn't warm to the new findings. Today, the more highly educated Americans are, the less red meat they eat, he noted.

Microsoft Surface Event 2019 is all set to kick off in New York City. And that's a bit of a bummer when you see the slimmer bezels on the Surface Pro X. Microsoft and Qualcomm teamed up to create new custom silicon for this 5.33 mm 2-in-1 weighing in at around 1.68 pounds. This suggests the hardware is powered by a chipset that's custom-built. Office 365 users, in turn, can take advantage the Surface Earbuds' four built-in microphones to pull up emails and calendar appointments with voice commands. It launches on October 22, starting at US$749.

Missing from last year's sixth edition Surface Pro was the USB-C.

The Surface Neo will include dual 9-inch displays that can fold 360 degrees. Microsoft has been developing Windows Lite aka Windows 10X as a competitor to Google's ChromeOS. I suspect that they'll get a reduction in a similar fashion to the Surface Headphone in early 2020.

Microsoft is targeting 10.5 hours of "typical device usage" from the Surface Pro 7's battery.

The Neo would have been the clear headliner if it wasn't for Microsoft's other dual-screen announcement. The device has a removable, flippable keyboard, which magnetically seals to the back of the device, along with a pen. Unfortunately, Microsoft still charges $129 for its Surface Pro Type Cover and $99 for the Surface Pen. Today it showed off the Surface Duo, an Android phone that features two 5.6-inch screens that unfold into an 8.3-inch device.

But that failed and Microsoft eventually threw in the towel on its Windows mobile operating system which failed to get a foothold in the sector dominated by Apple's iOS and Google's Android. Numerous devices are well reviewed, though Microsoft lags Apple and other hardware vendors in popularity.
