OnePlus is bringing a 5G phone to Sprint 'soon'

T-Mobile, of course, is looking to finish its merger with Sprint, though it is unclear if the new phone will work with T-Mobile's 5G network in addition to Sprint's.

It's for this reason that we've seen companies like LG and Xiaomi offer bigger batteries in their 5G phones. There is no official announcement yet but it will definitely be a 5G-enabled device.

Rivals Verizon Communications and AT&T are also building out 5G next generation wireless network across the U.S.

It's likely the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G that's already available in the UK. Sprint will only say that the device's specifications and pricing will be confirmed "soon"; the same goes for a release date for the new 5G phone.

OnePlus could be bringing that handset to the United States and Sprint in particular, or it could be working on a special version for the carrier.

A 5G OnePlus phone is coming to Sprint.

OnePlus is believed to be launching a new 5G phone in partnership with a major mobile carrier.

Of course there's an off chance that the device in question is the OnePlus 7T Pro, which is due in a few months.

"We value OnePlus' reputation for balancing high-end quality at a great value", said Dow Draper, Sprint's chief commercial officer, in a press release.

It's noteworthy that the 5G variant offers the same battery capacity as the 4G model, as early 5G phones are expected to consume more power than otherwise identical 4G phones.
