There have been no confirmed human cases of West Nile Virus in Adams County so far this year, and no confirmed birds that have tested positive for West Nile Virus.
Upper Milford Township in Lehigh County had another of the positives.
Since July there have also been positive mosquito samples collected in Bucks County as well as in Berks and DE counties. Additional cases reported by El Paso are likely to add to the total once they are reviewed by the state, health officials said.
West Nile virus is transmitted through the bite of a common house mosquito that has picked up the virus by feeding on an infected bird.
