One Mega Millions ticket wins $530 million jackpot

The Mega Millions jackpot for June 7 is estimated at a $530 million annuity, worth $345.2 million cash. That's pretty good, considering that the odds of winning the Mega Millions Jackpot are 1 in almost 303 million.

A ticket sold at a San Diego liquor store matched all six numbers in Friday night's $530M Mega Millions jackpot.

The Oceanport man learned he won $1 million while on his way to lunch with his father.

According to the game's official website, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350. "We had a great victor of the Powerball jackpot on Saturday".

There were two other tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number.

Mega Millions drawings are Tuesdays and Fridays and are offered in 44 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
