Square-Enix finally announced its long-awaited AAA game based on Marvel's Avengers, and it's appropriately titles Marvel's Avengers.

The Avengers saga might have been complete with the "End Game" but Marvel isn't done with very popular franchise. This upcoming superhero adventure will include an original story featuring Thor, Black Widow, Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America.

Check out Marvel's Avengers trailer below. However, Captain America stands alone against additional forces on a nearby helicarrier. If they look or act a bit different than what you're used to, that's because they don't feature the likenesses of the MCU actors from the films and they are Crystal Dynamics' own interpretation of these iconic characters. Last year, Insomniac Games brought Marvel's Spider-Man into the fold, which proved to be a success on all fronts, from storytelling to voice-acting, gameplay to world design. Like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this will be an ongoing, online game, with regular new (free) content drops, new heroes, cosmetic customisation, and more.

Crystal Dynamics' Creative Director Shaun Escayg and Marvel Games' Vice President Bill Rosemann were also on hand to explain the game's premise. The game will come out on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia on May 15, 2020.

Has the tree symbolising the Trump/Macron friendship died?
The French President had reportedly given a backup sapling as well to Trump but the tree was never replanted, AFP reported . In a tweet at the time, Macron said: "100 years ago, American soldiers fought in France, in Belleau to defend our freedom".

It's the final evening presentation of this year's E3 with Square Enix taking the stage for the next hour or so. You'll still spend an ATB point, but time won't slow down when you use special attacks. Also, what's the hook of the gameplay? Instead of only playing as Cloud while other party members are indirectly controlled, players can directly control any character in their party, switching between them at the press of a button. Development updates were few and far between while Square Enix focused on shipping Kingdom Hearts 3 but now, Final Fantasy is back in the spotlight once again.

At the moment the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is only confirmed as coming to the PS4.

It remains to be seen if the listing is simply a placeholder in case a port gets announced, or if the retailer has more concrete insider information. Most importantly, yes, it will let you play superheroes with your pals and duff up baddies together in co-op.
