Build A Bear bringing back popular pay your age promotion

In the "frequently asked questions" section of the website, the company acknowledged changes in this year's event.

This is in response to last year's debacle where angry parents and disappointed children stood in line for hours, only to be sent home empty-handed. It was so popular some stores were forced to close due to safety concerns.

Build-A-Bear plans to award tickets to 200,000 customers across the globe.

There will be a limit of one stuffed animal per child present with a limit of two stuffed animals per ticket. You'll need to do that between the 11 - 16 June, and if you are lucky enough to win, then you will be invited to one of two Pay Your Age slots between 24-28 June.

"Per local authorities, we can not accept additional guests at our U.S. Build-A-Bear Workshop locations due to crowd and safety concerns", the company said in a message on its website previous year.

More than 200,000 tickets will be given out, including 175,000 tickets in the U.S. Only a limited number of people will be able to attend the event.
