After the great success of Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, the excellent remake of the first three games of the Crash Bandicoot series, the new Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is also approaching. In a Playstation Blog feature, Beenox goes over just what to expect in Adventure Mode.
To revive the Adventure mode, Beenox has managed to recover all the typical elements of the original chapter. The characters are back-choose from Crash, Coco, Cortex, Polar, Pura, Tiny, or any of the other starting lineup characters you remember from the original. Nitro-Fueled will pair classic kart racing gameplay with awesome modern-day tech and is shaping up to be a pretty nifty looking release. Instead of just earning the boss characters like in the original, players will now earn something every time they win a race. The difference is that, in Nitro-Fueled, you'll be able to customise racers and their cars at any time, swapping out characters and applying new parts as you see fit. A boss victory also automatically results in the player securing the defeated character, including the opportunity to land Nitros Oxide himself through what promises to be a hard-fought contest. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled also boasts an array of colourful and fun powerups which you'll need to utilise to be top of the podium. This includes karts and customization items, letting players optimize their ride for each stage. There are new intro and victory cinematics that give life to each of the boss battles.

There are a lot more things to earn, with more cosmetics available. Working through each world and finally defeating Oxide will bring an incredible sense of accomplishment.
Beenix is promising an exhilarating and immersive experience for CTR: Nitro Fueled enthusiasts, who can grab the game's enhanced version June 21 on the PlayStation 4.
