The Australian big man, who is now a free agent, saw his NBL season draw to a close on Sunday with the Kings going down to Melbourne United in the league's semifinals.

Now, Bogut is set to reunite with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, as Golden State reportedly intends to sign the center for the remainder of the season.

Bogut signed a two-year deal with the Sydney Kings on April 2018. This season, he played for Australia's Sydney Kings of the NBL.

"The Philadelphia 76ers have expressed interest in trying to get a big man and with Embiid coming back from a knee injury, they could use another big man potentially".

Bogut, who became Australia's first number one National Basketball Association draft pick when Milwaukee selected him in 2005, spent his first seven seasons with the Bucks before joining the Warriors where he was a starting big man for their championship run in 2015. And it's no shock that it started with Cousins, who has built up a reputation as a loose cannon and one of the league's most immature players.

He has career averages of 9.7 points on.535 shooting, 8.7 boards and 1.6 blocks over 28.4 minutes a night.

Local reports in Philadelphia claim the team would only make a real effort to recruit Bogut if the injury news surrounding All Star centre Joel Embiid and star recruit Boban Marjanovic is worse than first thought.
