This excellent coverage of the "court of public opinion" is by Roz Weston and Graeme O'Neill of ET Canada Live.

In clips of Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland, Winfrey says that the documentary, which was directed by Dan Reed, "transcends" the late- King Of Pop, and she appears to be objective in her questioning to the young men.

"Leaving Neverland" contains disturbing details of child molestation allegedly committed by Michael Jackson before he passed away aged 50.

He says: "So we were like this married couple".

With the #MeToo movement in full swing, it was only a matter of time that Michael Jackson would be put back in the crosshairs.

Safechuck recalled during part one of the documentary when Jackson first invited him and his family to have dinner with him at the famous Hayvenhurst house, before the alleged abuse began.

In the film, Safechuck, who stated that he kept the brochure about Neverland from when Jackson was debating whether to buy it, said that before Jackson purchased the estate he told the boy the purchase was for him.

Both Robson and James Safechuck, the other accused featured in the film, have previously publicly accused Jackson of sexual abuse with the former saying he didn't realise he had been abused until reconsidering the events during a therapy session in 2012.

In the candid interview, the 40-year-old pulls out the ring he claims the popstar gave him during the "wedding" ceremony, which now barely fits on his adult fingers. "I was, and I think my mother and my whole family, was already surrendered before I ever met him". "He would run drills with me where we'd be in the hotel room and he would pretend like somebody was coming in and you had to get dressed as fast as possible without making noise". People are ignorant and they would never understand that we love each other and this is how we show it. "You want to be there for him".

"Anything that Michael did was right to me, for so many years", he added.

However Robson's claims also spoke about the warnings he received from Jackson during their time together.

The choreographer is one of two men who have made sexual assault charges against Jackson in Leaving Neverland, which debuted in America on Sunday.
