The Europe Game Ratings Board, PEGI, has just posted a rating for "Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 Campaign Remastered" for PlayStation 4 on their official site, with the game rated PEGI 18. It also mentions a release date of 28/02/2019, which was yesterday, so the information on the listing shouldn't be taken as a gospel truth. Presumably that's a placeholder that someone has forgot to update.
Unfortunately, we don't know when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered would hit, however, it would probably be later this year. As you might recall, Modern Warfare Remastered was released alongside Infinite Warfare back in 2016, bringing an extensive remake of the original's solo campaign and multiplayer component to modern platforms.
Modern Warfare 2 has been requested for the remaster treatment off and on for the last few years. Activision outsourced Modern Warfare Remastered to Beenox in order to allow Infinity Ward to fully focus on Infinite Warfare. While technically not an official conformation, a PEGI listing more or less confirms that the remastered CoD campaign is coming soon, though info about it started leaking out in March 2018.
Priyanka Chopra's 'Glam' Pics From Jonas Brothers' Sucker Goes Viral. Seen Yet?
Fans of the Jonas Brothers have been speculating about this return since the band's Instagram was reactivated roughly a year ago. It's easy to say that Jonas Brothers fans will be counting down the moments until midnight as they wait for the single to drop.
We may not see a new Battle Royale game from Activision.
Call of Duty 2019 is going to be developed by Infinity Ward, the creators of the popular Modern Warfare series of games. 2019 also marks the games 10th anniversary so chances are high that we could be seeing the title this year.
That said, while we have heard unofficial reports of the remaster, we haven't heard anything from Activision itself.
