Happiness is back for Real with Zidane return, says Navas

The likes of Keylor Navas, Marcelo and Isco all returned to the starting line-up against Celta Vigo on Saturday having been regularly left out by Santiago Solari.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Manchester United need to look for quality and longevity as they look to build a squad for next season amid the latest links to Real Madrid's Gareth Bale.

But Navas was a key figure under Zidane, who had tried to dissuade the club from signing another goalkeeper while he was in charge.

An atmosphere of positive encouragement to welcome their returning hero marked a welcome change at the Santiago Bernabeu to recent games and Zidane felt his team grew into the contest against their relegation-threatened visitors.

United will play hardball to keep a player numerous club's supporters believe is the best at the club. Zidane lost faith in Bale last season, with the pair's relationship growing increasingly strained before Zidane announced his departure.

Those kinds of choices were surely the result of a grudge that Solari held against Isco, and if one player wins and earns dividends after the 42-year-old's firing, it is none other than him. At right his Real Madrid's Gareth Bale.

"We'd only had three training sessions and now we've got two weeks to work with the players, speak to them and put what we've worked on in training into practice".

Yesterday Theresa May's Brexit deal was met with resounding defeat in government with 391 votes against and 242 votes for, a majority of 149.

We can not get any more conclusions after this game because Celta de Vigo are really struggling to stay in the top division and they are not a risky team right now. That leaves Spurs with a free run at the player, and they may be prepared to loan him back to Fulham for a season.

"There are 10 games left, today Keylor played, on another day it could be Thibaut", Zidane said.

Zidane's first point of call was to call Ramos who was reportedly threatening to leave the club should Jose Mourinho be brought back as manager.

But none of that group of players had been treated as coldly as Isco had by Solari, who didn't start him once in the 17 Spanish league matches that he coached.

"I think he will try to get Bale out of the club".

Benzema had a goal disallowed just before halftime because of a foul by Bale, while Luka Modric's goal in the second half was disallowed on video review because Madrid defender Raphael Varane was offside.

Much has been said about whether Zidane's return could mean the end of Bale's career in Madrid, but the Wales forward capped a strong display by sealing victory, making it three goals in his last two games under Zidane and adding to the celebratory mood.
