Accessed through an all-new Apple TV app, the service will give users access to original shows, movies and documentaries from some of the world's biggest names, including Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Octavia Spencer, J.J. Abrams, Jason Momoa, M. Night Shyamalan, Jon M. Chu and more. The service will launch this fall in more than 150 countries and regions, though Apple didn't announce pricing.

Netflix's transformation from a DVD-by-mail service into one of Hollywood's largest studios has convinced many technology companies that they too can make hit TV shows.

Apple is launching a new service called Apple TV+ with a focus on high-quality original shows. Going forward for users with up-to-date devices, the News widget will open into the Apple News app rather than loading web pages. Some of the new magazine offerings in the service include Time, Vogue, People, National Geographic and several others, according to logos that appeared on screen.

Apple Arcade games will be playable on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, as well as Apple TV, and users will be able to freely switch between devices. Though many mobile games are given out for free, players can rack up hundreds of dollars for optional extras such as virtual weapons. The company did not say how much it will cost.

A new Apple Card credit card will be integrated into Apple Pay on the iPhone, extending the company's reach into digital payments.

Apple March 25 Event Live Streaming: Where To Watch Online?

Apple Live Event will happen tomorrow, March 25 at Steve Jobs teacher in Cupertino. The company is emphasizing privacy and says it won't know what you bought or where.

An optional physical card is available, but in typical Apple fashion, it's a laser-etched titanium rectangle.

The iPhone version includes a 2% cashback incentive on each purchase, has no late fees, annual fees or global fees, said Apple Pay VP Jennifer Bailey. It's a Mastercard issued by Goldman Sachs. There's also a "For You" section that uses machine learning to recommend personalized content. Still, at least in this case, Apple's incentives and publishers' incentives are generally aligned, which was not always the case in partnerships with Google or Facebook. Facebook, for instance, might target ads based on your past reading of specific publications or topics, such as gun control or the environment. The new Apple AirPods is powered by the new H1 chip which offers faster wireless connectivity and better battery life.

But the biggest reasons to upgrade to News+ is the inclusion of magazines to the collection of articles you can explore.

Publishers have struggled over the past few years as the targeted ad platforms of Google and Facebook have taken away numerous ad dollars that would normally be spent on advertising in magazines or on content websites.
