Actor Jan Michael Vincent has died

According to TMZ, the actor died on 10 February after suffering cardiac arrest while a patient at North Carolina hospital. His first film was the Robert Conrad movie The Bandits.

The American actor last worked in film, White Boy, in 2002.

Fans paid tribute to the late actor on Twitter with one person writing: "Jan-Michael Vincent legend sadly gone".

In addition to Airwolf, Vincent appeared in a number of other TV series, such as Police Story, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and Nash Bridges.

Vincent, who had documented problems with alcoholism and drug abuse, suffered a broken neck in a high-profile 2006 auto crash while chasing a girlfriend he was fighting with.

The complaint argues that the arrangement was illegal and skirted a $5,000 PAC contribution requirement. A separate group filed an FEC complaint about the payments to AOC's boyfriend .

However, it was Airwolf that truly made Vincent a star. He was ordered to pay $350,000 in 2000 after physically assaulting an ex-girlfriend and causing her to miscarry their child.

That year, he was also sentenced to 60 days in jail for violating his probation for alcohol-related convictions.

After Airwolf, he was only able to secure small parts through the 1990s, including in Nash Bridges and Vincent Gallo's Buffalo '66.
