Sarri claims Chelsea are refusing to sell Callum Hudson-Odoi

Maurizio Sarri once again lamented his side's lack of mental strength following Chelsea's 4-0 loss to Bournemouth.

A player of Hazard's ability is something that any football club would welcome, the 28-year-old is a sensational winger who possesses speed, unbelievable dribbling ability, and a creative and scoring touch.

Chelsea's difficulties on the pitch don't just come down to the mentality of the players.

Now details of what Sarri said to the squad have started to emerge, with The Telegraph reporting that the Italian singled out Hazard for his role in the defeat.

A calamitous second-half performance from the Blues saw Joshua King and David Brooks take full advantage, as Eddie Howe's Bournemouth side ran out 4-0 winners despite being dominated for nearly all of the first 45 minutes.

Gonzalo Higuain is "not in shape" and needs to regain his best physical condition before he makes an impact for Chelsea, Maurizio Sarri has said.

Sleet, snow and ice forecast
Heavy snow is forecast to hit the United Kingdom tonight as the Big Freeze launches another bone-chilling assault on the country. The rest of the United Kingdom is expected to see the impact from midday, with up to 10cm (4in) of snowfall on higher ground.

Sarri kept his players in the dressing room for more than 40 minutes following the loss.

Sarri is quoted as saying by Metro: "Eden is 28".

"In that moment I wanted to talk to them alone, without anybody". Instead, he was left deadlocked in the room with just his squad for nearly 40 minutes, before surrendering to the power of his players and claiming that maybe he can't be the man to motivate this side. Now here I am frustrating Sarri. It was Chelsea's worst defeat in all competitions in 17 years. It is unacceptable for Chelsea and we have to find the solutions'.

Liverpool remain favourites to win the title and have shortened to [1.6] despite behind held by the Foxes, the draw increasing their lead over Man City to five points followng the Citizens' 2-1 defeat to the Magpies.

With Chelsea now out of the top four - below Arsenal on goals scored - in the race for Champions League qualification, there's even the danger Sarri's job could be at risk if the team loses to last-place Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
