National Football League slates Chiefs, Chargers game for Mexico City

A reunion between Chicago Bears star Khalil Mack and the Oakland Raiders will take place in London as they square off across the Atlantic, while the Jacksonville Jaguars will play their annual United Kingdom game against AFC South rivals the Houston Texans. The Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans will be making their first trips to play in England, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars, respectively.

Dates and locations of those games will be announced at a later date.

This coming season, another L.A. -based team, the Chargers, will be the hosts, which means an important divisional showdown in the AFC West will be played in Mexico City.

Two of the London games will take place at Wembley and two will be held at Tottenham's new stadium.

The NFL has played annually in London since 2007 - 21 games at Wembley, three at Twickenham. The Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams were scheduled to play there last November but the game was moved to Los Angeles because of poor field conditions.

Earlier this year, the Seahawks beat the Raiders 27-3, the Chargers defeated the Titans 20-19, and the Eagles beat the Jaguars 24-18.

The National Football League announced next year's internationally-scheduled games for 2019 on Monday, and the Kansas City Chiefs are once again slated to be the visiting team in their one-game experiment in Mexico City.
