The Miami Dolphins have interviewed New England defensive coordinator Brian Flores for their vacant head coaching job.

- The Green Bay Packers' coaching search is expanding by the day, with another significant name being added to their list of candidates.

The Dolphins are also expected to interview their special teams coach, Darren Rizzi; Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio; Dallas Cowboys secondary coach Kris Richard; and former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak, now the Pittsburgh Steelers' offensive line coach. In that span, he led Miami to a 23-25 record including a playoff appearance in 2016.

"It's not about winning one year and then falling back", Grier said. Learning on the job in NY is tough to do and someone with prior experience overseeing a whole operation could be ideal in achieving success sooner rather than later.

Grier has said the Dolphins will investigate every avenue in pursuing a coach, and neither National Football League experience nor head-coaching experience is a necessity.
