Fitzgerald says Closs was medically cleared, is out of the hospital and is being interviewed by law enforcement.
When authorities responded to the home, they found the front door kicked in and the couple had been shot to death.
Closs vanished on October 15, 2018.

Closs has been missing since October 15, when her parents were found murdered in their Barron, Wisconsin home. She was - she did state who she believed had her, and she did give us a little information about the person's vehicle. "I've been in the dumpster for three months", he said. On Friday, Smart posted on her Instagram account that it was a "miracle" Jayme had been found alive. The exact details of the child's escape were not released.

Jayme Closs, the 13-year-old Wisconsin girl who has been missing for almost three months, has been found. Douglas County, where Jayme was found, is hundreds of miles northwest of Walworth County.

Detectives pursued thousands of tips, watched dozens of surveillance videos and conducted numerous searches to try to find Closs.
Some tips led officials to recruit 2,000 volunteers for a massive ground search on October 23.
"Jayme was taken against her will and escaped from a residence at which she was being held, and found help", Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald. "And it was Jayme herself who gave us that break". Authorities do not know why Patterson allegedly targeted the Closs family and do not believe he had a prior connection with Jayme Closs or her parents, reported CNN.
He acknowledged that Jayme may not be the same person she was before she disappeared. When she opened it, her neighbor was standing next to a skinny girl with unkempt hair and oversized shoes.
She asked Closs if she knew where Gordon, Wisconsin was.
